After a colorful ceremonial graduation the students traveled home for their long holidays (and staff were also released after having completed the marking of the exam papers). We will start the next academic year early February.

After a great, relaxing time in Switzerland, I was very happy to return to the College. Work has caught up with me but as we are preparing for our decade celebrations the weeks ahead promise to be exciting. This is the third term and early December we will end this academic year.

What a privilege to be part of such a historic time!

Besides all the new things that I'm still doing, the relationships keep life interesting. Enjoy the impressions of the last few weeks.

I am happy to say that I am the latest addition to the staff of this Teacher Training College. We are facilitating a two-year-course for pre-service primary school teachers and in-service training during vacation times.

Since the current academic year has come to an end and the exams have been written there are no more classes taking place. The students have left for their homes and the staff is busy marking the exams.

This has given me a lot of time to get settled and organized in my new home. Below you find a few impressions of the College, this year's graduation ceremony and a visit to a refugee camp at the border to D.R. of Congo, but also of the few days I spent in Nairobi, Kenya, when traveling through.
